Venice

My sister and I spent a day in Venice eating a lot of food, driving around, and taking pictures.

Our first stop was The Butcher’s Daughter on Abbot Kinney. It’s a healthy vegetarian restaurant with really cute decor inside. There was a lot of accented rose gold pieces and white walls and great food. My sister and I split the Mediterranean bowl that had rice, tomatoes, cheese, and some other good stuff and  avocado toast with cheese and tomato jam. Both of the dishes were awesome, especially the toast.IMG_1508.JPGIMG_1510.JPG

Then we looked around at the boutiques, but we didn’t buy anything because boutiques are expensive! We took some pictures against the cool graffiti in Venice and got ice cream at Salt and Straw. I LOVE Salt and Straw because it has weird flavors like honey lavender, which is what I got.IMG_1536.JPG

After the ice cream, we drove to see the Venice canals which were so serene and peaceful. I’ve been to Venice a ton of times, but I’ve never seen the canals. They were awesome because it was like a sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle.IMG_1539.JPG

The last place we stopped was Erewhon because my sister recognized it from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It’s basically an organic, healthy grocery store with valet parking and everything. We just bought some granola and juices. Mine was called “Heavenly Greens” and it had some kiwi, broccoli, cucumber, apple, spinach, and pineapple.IMG_1548.JPG
