DIY: Bacon, Ricotta, and Honey Tartine

I love tartines. I love bacon. I love food. My friend and I decided to put our loves together and make this easy lunch! 

Ingredients:

  • Bacon
  • Baguette
  • Honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Arugula
  • Ricotta

To start off, cook the bacon in a skillet, then toast the baguette. My friend and I toasted the baguette in the same skillet as we cooked the bacon using butter and bacon fat, but toasting the bread in a toaster would work just as well and be easier. Spread ricotta on the bread, then top it with arugula and bacon. Add a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, and you are done!IMG_1615.JPGIMG_1617.JPG
